Eden Chubb is an illustrator, cardboard artist, video rental store proprietress, and lifelong New Orleanian. Her art includes everything from silly cat comics to traditional illustration (usually in the style of 70's children's book psychedelia), to sock puppets. She also makes intricate cardboard dioramas by stacking hand-cut, hand-painted layers of cardboard into a three-dimensional space, often incorporating elements of theater and light design.
She lives in her childhood home with her husband and two cats, and runs an underground video rental store on weekends.
You can purchase prints, greeting cards, and books on etsy and society6. If you're in New Orleans you can also find them at Frenchmen Art and Books, the Glitter Box, Slow Down NOLA, or at the occasional art market. Feel free to also reach out for personal commissions.
